Fenerbahçe Istanbul Jet Wheelchair Basketball Team Advances to EuroCup 2025 Quarterfinals with a Flawless Performance
Sponsored by Istanbul Jet Aviation and Fuel Services as title sponsor, and continuing the season under the motto “On the Court at Jet Speed,” reigning Turkish League and European Champion Fenerbahçe Istanbul Jet Wheelchair Basketball Team has successfully completed the first stage of EuroCup 2025.
Competing in Group C of the tournament organized by the IWBF and hosted in Italy from January 30 to February 2, 2025, Fenerbahçe Istanbul Jet defeated all of its opponents and earned a spot in the quarterfinals.
The two-year-long jersey sponsorship between Istanbul Jet and Fenerbahçe Wheelchair Basketball Team was elevated this season to a main sponsorship agreement, symbolizing a partnership built on inclusivity, societal benefit, and shared values. With the 2024–2025 agreement, the aim is to build upon the team’s success both in Turkey and across Europe.
Commenting on the team’s stellar performance in the Champions League group stage in Italy, Hüseyin Latifoğlu, General Manager of Istanbul Jet Aviation and Fuel Services, said:
“This championship demanded extreme endurance, with teams playing two matches a day for two consecutive days. Our team delivered an outstanding performance, achieving four wins in four matches against top-tier teams from Germany, Italy, Spain, and France.

The Champions League Quarterfinal Stage will be held in Germany, from March 6 to 9, 2025, across two groups.
The top two teams from each group will qualify to compete in the Final Four, set to take place in Istanbul from May 1 to 4, 2025.
