Istanbul Jet Wins “Best Corporate Communication Strategy” Award for Sponsorships Supporting Disadvantaged Groups

Demonstrating its sustainable growth through robust financial performance in the energy, petroleum, and gas sectors, Istanbul Jet Aviation and Fuel Services has been recognized for its strategic corporate communications approach in sponsorships dedicated to disadvantaged communities.

Operating across air, marine, and land fuel supply sectors, as well as electric vehicle charging infrastructure, Istanbul Jet strengthened its brand positioning with initiatives that reflect its financial success. At the Business Honors Awards, the company was honored in the “Best Corporate Communication Strategy” category within the energy sector, specifically for its impactful communication strategy in sponsorships targeting vulnerable groups.

Istanbul Jet entered the competition with three projects, all evaluated by a distinguished jury composed of respected leaders from the business world.

  • The first project, developed in partnership with LÖSEV (The Foundation for Children with Leukemia), was part of the “Goodness Should Never Be Left Behind” campaign. Istanbul Jet provided fuel sponsorship for all service vehicles, including the iconic “Goodness Truck,” supporting the nationwide distribution of essential aid to over 95,000 children and adults battling leukemia and cancer across Turkey.
  • The second project saw Istanbul Jet become the main sponsor of the Fenerbahçe Wheelchair Basketball Team for the 2024–2025 season. Drawing inspiration from the team’s perseverance, the company aimed to elevate its global brand through the power of sports sponsorship, aspiring to support the team in securing their third European Championship title.
  • For its third initiative, Istanbul Jet covered the printing sponsorship of 1,000 copies of a children’s book titled “The Story of Two Names”, written to raise awareness about Cerebral Palsy. The project emphasized the importance of equal access to education and healthcare for all children, reinforcing the company’s commitment to social responsibility.

The award ceremony, marked by strong attendance and successful organization, was represented by Corporate Communications Manager Elvan Yektin.

Commenting on the recognition, Hüseyin Latifoğlu, General Manager of Istanbul Jet, made a heartfelt call for expanding volunteer networks in the corporate world:

“As a global player in the energy, oil, and gas sector, we’ve designed our corporate communication strategies on a foundation that creates social value. Our initiatives focused on disadvantaged groups serve as a unifying force in both internal and external communications.

I sincerely thank the esteemed jury members who found us worthy of this honor, and I’d like to reiterate my vision of a society where our collective awareness leads to meaningful and lasting change.”
