İstanbul Jet and LÖSEV Join Forces for “Drive Kindness Forward” Project
İstanbul Jet Aviation and Fuel Services Inc. has taken its corporate social responsibility mission one step further by establishing a new partnership with LÖSEV – The Foundation for Children with Leukemia. Within the scope of the “Drive Kindness Forward” project, this collaboration aims to support the nationwide distribution of in-kind aid to children and adults battling leukemia and cancer, raise awareness, and provide socio-economic assistance to registered families across Turkey.
LÖSEV’s “Truck of Goodness” Will Hit the Roads with Fuel Support from İstanbul Jet
To strengthen the effectiveness of LÖSEV’s nationwide aid, donation, and awareness activities, the project was launched to identify patients’ needs on-site, reach newly diagnosed individuals, and carry out awareness campaigns. With İstanbul Jet’s fuel sponsorship, the “Drive Kindness Forward” project will ensure better operational capacity across LÖSEV’s regional offices in cities including Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, Bursa, Antalya, Adana, Eskişehir, Kayseri, and Samsun. The collaboration also aims to further embed the concept of social responsibility into the collective consciousness of society.
The partnership agreement was signed during a ceremony on October 31, 2024, at the Village for Children with Leukemia in Ankara. During the event, İstanbul Jet’s General Manager Hüseyin Latifoğlu stated:
“We are proud to elevate our collaboration with LÖSEV, which began with a room donation during the 100th anniversary of our Republic. Being at the heart of such a meaningful initiative by providing fuel—the very core of our operations—is an indescribable honor. Today, as we celebrate the 101st year of our Republic, being here among these children fills us with deep emotion. On behalf of our organization, I express heartfelt pride in contributing to the journey of these brave young fighters and their devoted families.”
Also speaking at the ceremony, Selma Atasoy, LÖSEV’s Donations and Corporate Relations Coordinator, shared:
“Drive Kindness Forward‘ project is one of LÖSEV’s most valuable initiatives. Through multi-faceted support, we reach over 95,000 children and adult cancer patients across Turkey. With our ‘Truck of Kindness’ and other mobile units, we not only deliver aid directly to each province, but also create engaging, fair-like events and learning environments for families and children.
Thanks to the ‘Mutlu Et’ project, we deliver essential protein-rich foods via refrigerated vehicles, ensuring the dietary needs crucial to cancer treatment are met. Additionally, our mobile outreach vehicles allow us to visit every household, listen to personal stories, provide emotional support, and complete registration processes on-site.
